About Valentiney Christmas
Valentiney Christmas was born, raised and currently residing in the Pittsburgh area of Pennsylvania. Reading became a much enjoyed hobby of hers during her third year of college where she earned a bachelor’s degree in science. She continues to enjoy reading as a way to experience new adventures and learn and grow from the experiences of others, even if it’s fiction. She has always been fond of telling stories, but she delights in using her own life experiences to bring comfort, joy, and laughter to others. The pure gratification of sharing her life with her little basset hound and the adventures they shared together birthed the Snackie Basset stories, which are all based on true events.

During a difficult time in my life I prayed to God for help and He answered my prayers in the form of a Basset Hound. A Basset Hound I call Snacks. God allowed us to enjoy each other and experience many funny adventures together. She has been such a blessing to me and I want to honor and praise God by sharing that blessing with others.

Such a cute story! My preschooler and elementary schooler love it! We’ve already read it a handful of times since purchasing. It’s a very uplifting and heart warming story about adoption and the illustrations are great! I definitely recommend it!
Very sweet, nicely illustrated book about the adoption and adventures of a bassett hound. A fun read for anyone adopting a pet or even those going through the process of a child adoption. My grandkids loved it!
